An Intro to Us..
It all started with the desire to nourish our bodies and our future family’s bodies, this remains the main goal in everything we grow and do.
The produce and products we offer are genuine ‘home-orchard-quality’, all grown with the love and attention we give to what we are eating ourselves.
We are small scale , which means, low impact machines, organic methods, organic fertilisiers and everything from growing, processing, packing to selling, is done by us.
The desire to source our produce can vary, some notice the flavour stands out compared to others, some understand that the soils and ways a lot of our food is now grown results in food lacking the nutrients our bodies need and others place value on our little impact on the environment to grow and then bring the food from ‘field to market’. Either way, the benefits remain the same and we can wholeheartedly say we’re pretty proud of what we do.
Our shelf stable products are created using low heat pasteurisation to ensure maximum nutrients, to prevent oxidisation of fruit we use our own squeezed lemon juice and we seek ingredients for added benefits when needed, using local family beekeepers for the Manuka Honey in our syrup.
We can only hope that we can preserve these Heritage seed lines and pass on the knowledge and passion for growing nutrient dense food to the generations to come.
